Client Testimonials

Environmetrics has used the internet surveying services of i-Link on a number of projects over the last few years. On each occasion they brought a professionalism and attention to detail to the project that allowed us to deliver accurate and reliable research results to our clients. They provide a complete service, from creative research design at the outset, to the quick set-up of the survey site and regular contact and data updates as the survey progresses. We have used them for a range of clients and they have been very flexible in adapting to the different surveys topics and samples that have been involved. We would not hesitate to use i-Link on future projects and would recommend them to anyone who required high quality and cost effective internet research services. Pete Wilson   Envrionmetrics

Inside Story

INSIDE STORY has been using i-Link’s services since 2002. We have always found the i-Link staff willing to please and provide excellent service, going beyond a simple supplier relationship to more of a partnership. Most of the projects we commission from i-Link differ from the usual online questionnaire style and have offered unusual challenges. i-Link has always risen to these and the technicians have never failed to solve any issues that occur. We continue to be impressed with i-Link and are happy to advocate them. Catherine Anderson INSIDE STORY

Wallis Consulting Group

Wallis Consulting Group has used i-Link Research since the company formed for most of its internet studies. We have found all our dealings to be extremely professional and pleasant. We find i-Link’s services to be fast and dependable and the quality of work is exceptional. Our clients have also been extremely happy with the results. So good is the service we receive that we have delayed our own plans to install internet software and continue to outsource this function safe in the knowledge it is in the hands of experts. Perhaps the highest recommendation is that, on occasion, i-Link staff have dealt directly with our clients. Our clients have been impressed with the level of knowledge and professionalism displayed. We have no hesitation in recommending i-Link as a provider of internet research services. Jayne Van souwe Wallis Consulting Group

ISO 20252

i-Link achieved ISO 20252 certification in May 2008. ISO 20252 is the international standard for market, social and opinion research – the recognised industry standard for market research in Australia. One of our highest priorities is ensuring adherence to the procedures we put in place to achieve this certification. This means that we manage all the projects entrusted to us with a steadfast commitment to quality, consistency and professionalism.

ISO 26362

i-Link achieved ISO 26362 certification for our online panel, LiveTribe, in early 2013.

Certification to ISO 26362, the international standard for access panels in market, opinion and social research, covers the operation and management of an online community panel to provide project management services for conducting market research studies online.

The LiveTribe panel is administered through i-Link’s proprietary panel management system, i-Connect. All features and capabilities of i-Connect have been developed to comply with ISO 26362 standards.

ISO 27001

i-Link systems and technology is accredited to ISO/IEC 27001 for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). This accreditation is granted for the provision of consultancy, design, supply, content management, operation maintenance and support of computer system services, data networks and computer software development.

Return Path Accreditation

i-Link is a certified Return Path sender. Attaining Return Path email certification requires compliance with the specific standards, metrics and requirements which represent best practice in the mass deployment of emails, in our case for the purpose of inviting participation to quantitative and qualitative research activities.

Having this accreditation ensures that the emails we send to research participants are “whitelisted”, and not considered as spam by email providers and filtering companies.

Case studies

Case One: Artificial Intelligence Meets the Consumer

Our brief for this project was to provide a complex choice model to participants in which the model was intelligently adapted to simulate a ‘real response’. For this project, participants were asked to view a series of employment contracts and to provide an indication of whether they would accept or reject the contract being presented. Based on the participant’s initial input our system then used a mathematical formula provided by our client’s choice modeller, to artificially determine a ‘revised contract’. Contracts were adjusted in this way a number of times until a final contract offer was accepted by the participant. As shown above, screen presentations included the ability to provide instant feedback on the preference between the ‘artificial employer’ and the participant’s choice as a final contract was being negotiated.

Case Two: A New Way to Shop!

In this example, our client asked us to build a question, styled to their specifications, which would visually replicate point of sale shelving. The ‘shopping style’ question below used rollover and drag & drop techniques so participants would be engaged in the choice scenarios. The question enables products to be displayed on a number of shelves. Participants simply pass their cursor over the item displayed on the shelf to view a larger picture with specific details on the product – which is displayed on the right or left of the screen. Items are selected when dragged into a shopping cart which tallies the total amount being spent. The system can also validate a range to be spent. i-Link has developed this question style based on our clients’ needs. In this case, as with others, we agreed to absorb the cost of development so we could incorporate the design into our standard offer.

Case Three: A Graphical Approach to Choice Modelling

This project was an adjunct to the project detailed in Case One: Artificial Intelligence Meets the Consumer. Our brief in this instance was to use the same statistical modelling that was used previously but to present data as either textual or graphical. Researchers were interested to find out if either of these methods would produce a different result. Matched participants in this monadic design were either shown a textual representation of an employment contract or a graphical representation (see images below). Our system was able to effectively take the same information and display it differently as the research required. i-Link Research has highly experienced researchers and programmers with the expertise required to design, implement and field any project required. As demonstrated by the case studies above, our systems have been intentionally developed to enable easy integration of novel research designs to our application’s core validation methods and controls, resulting in hassle free research solutions that work.
