New and Improved Systems

At i-Link we understand that to continue as global leaders in the provision of online services we must maintain an ethos of continual investment in our research systems and applications. In doing this, we are ensuring our position at the forefront of innovation and development within our industry as we continually strive to improve on the service and capabilities we offer our clients.

The previous twelve months has seen the team at i-Link preside over our best year to date in terms of overall company growth and improvements to our proprietary research applications, which include an advanced survey system (i-Question), over-time discussion group (i-Discuss) and our live interactive group facility (i-Focus).

This coupled with parallel developments in a suite of supporting research tools such as Integrate Portal, Coding on the Fly, Change Request System, i-Bot Data Validation and Intuitive Mailroom ensures that our clients will continually benefit from the best available technologies when managing their online research activities.As a registered R&D company, this type of development is made possible by i-Link committing over 6000 man hours to the continual advancement of our research specific technologies.

The result is a cutting edge suite of applications and solutions which offer our clients the very best capabilities to deliver a first class online research design.i-Link's premier survey system, i-Question, has evolved to ensure effective set-up and deployment of any online questionnaire. Utilising stable flash based point-and-click technology, this dynamic system provides our clients with the ability to conduct research in a rich multimedia and graphical environment, making it both an easy and intuitive format for the respondent to use.It is the ultimate survey tool from our clients' perspective, easily deploying complex survey designs such as choice modeling and conjoint analysis tasks, right through to more standardised tracking and measurement research. It is laden with relevant and intuitive features to support the researcher throughout every stage of their research design and activity.

Throughout the duration of the research project, our project management team at i-Link, equipped with a detailed knowledge of the systems capabilities, will ensure our clients benefit from the best research design for use in an online medium.Our most recent additions however reside within our online qualitative offering, where the development and launch of our second generation i-Focus and i-Discuss applications are complete.i-Discuss is our solution for conducting over-time focus groups and i-Focus for conducting live and interactive focus group sessions. Designed specifically for qualitative research purposes only, both applications are equipped with a range of features to enable effective moderation and participation within the group:- clean whiteboard displays, designed to maximise concentration whilst minimising distraction- easily opened and closed moderator toolbox and whiteboard elements, maximising full screen respondent views when needed- rich multimedia presentation capabilities via built in whiteboards- multiple boards, users and groups can easily be managed via the moderator toolbox- topics, guides, media and posts are quickly uploaded via an intuitive point-and-click system- integrated email facility for individual and group communication- user summary screens quickly allow the moderator to view individual and overall group participation- multiple set-up modes within the i-Discuss over-time groups (channeled, sequential and ramble styles)- customisable look and feel settings- active links to i-Question, incorporating an additional survey component within the group- exportable transcripts in a range of formats, including Word and Excel.
